One of the things we've been challenged with is making sure we separate homes, condos and townhomes in Redfin's search so that you don't get the wrong thing for what you were looking for.  We don't do it well for townhomes, or single-family attached, in general today and are working to improve that.

 

In researching the solution, I stumbled across this extremely well-done, "not technically lying, but not really telling the truth" house listing on Capitol Hill in Seattle.  The home is listed as a 1 story with basement house for only $340,000.   quite a deal!  

 

Check out the photos for the little house.  It's all lovely and cute...

 

But... look at the location on the map next to the photos.  It's not a stand-alone house at all, but rather a very well photographed home attached to many others.   The photos, while not inaccurate, very expertedly fail to tell the whole story of this property.
